ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES OFFERED
CESI has an expert team of personnel who are well-versed in Phases I & II Environmental Site Assessments, Site Remediation, Filing of Records of Site Conditions and Executing Excess Site Management Projects.
The extent of such programs varies greatly from site to site and are usually determined by the actual needs of the client, or the nature of the site and encountered.
The following services are offered:
- Site history research and documentation.
- Collection of soil, water, gas and waste samples.
- Design and installation of instrumentations such as piezometers, wells, etc.
- Monitoring boreholes and confined spaces for the presence of methane gas and sulphur dioxide gas.
- Monitoring well installation and well development.
- Chemical testing of recovered samples for heavy metals, hydrocarbon, halogenated organics, PAH, PCBs, volatile solids, pesticides and industrial chemicals.
- Liaison with all governmental regulatory agencies.
- Development of remediation plans, and carrying out confirmatory testing.
- Design and installation of instrumentations such as piezometers, wells, etc.
- Location of suitable disposal sites.
- Monitoring of excavation removal and disposal of contaminated soil or wastes.
- Site remediation supervision and project management.
- Design and installation of pump and treatment systems.
- Design, testing and monitoring of clay and synthetic barrier and containment systems.
- Implementation of in place remediation options such as biodegradable systems.
- Assessment of suitability of sites for septic systems, and well water supply.
- Assessment of environmental impact of proposed new developments on neighbouring properties.
